This shot is an unstacked view to see the individual portraits. From left to right, the words "hush," "hide," and "halt" are hidden in the designs, respectively, as a summation of the overwhelming personality traits present in these moments.

The juxtaposition of an overly youthful self-portrait eating an incredibly vibrant apple (often implying sin and temptation), asserts the pressure of appealing to a socially imposed lifestyle and beauty standards. Mortality here in a symbol of an apple along with the apple as a symbol of temptation creates additionally harsh juxtaposition to create a sense of urgency to comply with these standards.

This view shows the illustrative nature of the bisections of this figure; comically and eerily communicating the figure less as a human being or individual and more as a "piece of meat." Here, the illustration on the figure's clothing is more visible, one can see the male and female figures along with the symbol of a home.

This work hyperbolizes toxic relationship dynamics while drawing upon symbols created in previous works; such as the conversation heart as a means to communicate consent, or lack their of.

Mixed media screen print triptych with hand made resin, wood, bead and glitter frames. These pieces are part of an installation to be documented shortly. I experimented printing with glow-in-the-dark inks as well as carpenter’s flocking to mimic the look and playfulness of childhood cartoon posters; intended to invoke the same childlike naivete in the context of relationship dynamics. I did this work during a residency at DIY Print in Essex Studios Cincinnati, OH in 2018.
